Open-source intelligence – Wikipedia
en.m.wikipedia.org

I’ve been developing OSINT sources so that I have ready information. When the Summer of LoveĀ© was in full effect I was able to quickly get information for regional events. I’ve worked on expanding that reach. Let’s see if this works:

Live audio
https://www.broadcastify.com/listen/ A good selection of broadcast and public service radio. I’ve used this one during breaking news events http://www.websdr.org/ WebSDR. People were using it to monitor the early Ukraine invasion. https://www.liveatc.net/ ATC live audio

Aircraft tracking. If something interesting is going on locally I look for the news station and sheriff’s helicopters

Marinetraffic also has a phone app, I used it to track chartered work vessels. Don’t make the mistake of subscribing, their sales staff are very persistent. http://www.hisutton.com/
